This is a private page that shows my career. It collects as little as a website can.

What this site does not do
- No cookies, and nothing stored in your browser.
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising.
- No requests to third parties. Fonts (Fraunces, IBM Plex) and all scripts are served from this server.
- No forms; I only receive what you send me by email.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs on a server I administer myself, rented from Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data center in Nuremberg, Germany. To deliver a page, the server necessarily processes your IP address, the page you request, the time, and your browser's user agent. The web server keeps no access logs. Error logs, which can contain an IP address, are kept for at most 14 days to keep the server secure and running, and are then deleted. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Links to other sites
The page links to LinkedIn, GitHub, Medium and others. Their privacy policies apply once you follow a link; nothing is loaded from them before that.
If you email me, I use your message only to reply, and delete it when it's no longer needed (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your data, to object to it, and to data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Email me to use them. You can also complain to a data-protection authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HBDI).
